neo roanoke. reportedly killed in action in the last great war, neo is a man who lives in anonymity. after finding out all his memories have been implanted into him artificially, he is searching for answers on who he really is—gathering, perhaps, some knowledge of who he could be, too.
{£} She furrowed her eyebrows at him, so he’s homeless? What a poor guy. She guess that not everybody so lucky like her then. Though she doesn’t consider herself as lucky.
“Nothing special though,” she told him. “My older sister wants to be a singer, while my 2 other sisters are athletes. Well, basically most of my family members are athletes."
It must be nice living with people who have similar interests as you. Hell, Neo finds himself thinking, it must be nice having a family at all. He’s almost nostalgic, but he tries not to dwell on that too long.
"Are you an athlete?” he finds himself asking, the idea of family and everything in relation to it a more gripping topic than he initially thought it would be. Though he imagines the novelty of it all must be the reason for his intrigue; not remembering his own family is a travesty, after all.
{£} “What?!!! You dont even own a houseee???? ” she gasped as she looked at the blond. “Then where are you staying?”
She puts her index finger on her chin.
“No, I have two other older sisters. But yeah, my family is rich. I guess?”
Her surprise is cute. Ah, the innocence of youth.
“Parks,” he tells her. “Motels. Sometimes I sneak into malls and hide there when everyone’s gone.” It occurs to him that maybe he’s being a bad influence, but Neo shrugs that thought away. “Not everybody’s lucky enough to have a home to return to, kiddo. On my end, I’m just lucky to find shelter from the rain.”
“Cool that you have sisters, though–what’s that like?” The way he speaks is reminiscent of childish curiosity; family lives always intrigue Neo, what with him not having a memory of his own or anything. “That must mean you aren’t so lonely at home, yeah?”
{£} “Well, if you do that, my father would do anything to get me back. Since I was so ‘special’ to him. he needs me to achieve his dream,” she said with a yawn. Well, she’s right though. Her father would do anything to get her back.
“And why would i have to renovate your house? Believe me, my art abilities is horrible. I might destroy your house at the process.”
It’s just a scenario. I don’t need a reason for you to renovate my house. I don’t even own a house.
[ so she’s going to rely on daddy dearest to bail her out. neo really needs a day just for himself, where he can sit down and think about the changes in this generation, jesus christ ]
So, what are you, an only child of a rich family? What’s that like?
{£} “Hmmnnnn~ Not really!” she said, truthfully. “I often talk to stranger back home. It’s not really a really bizzare thing now, is it?”
[ oh my god is she serious that is not safe at all neo is going to go into cardiac arrest ]
Uh–it actually is, a little bit.
I mean, hypothetically speaking, what if I kidnapped you? That’d be bad. I mean, sure, I’d get arrested. Probably. But in-between the time of kidnapping and the time of arrest, I could do horrible things to you, like r–…
[ she is only seven years old neo don’t you fucking dare ]
This blog is canon in terms of the events in Gundam SEED and all the events in Gundam SEED Destiny up until Phase 42. It assumes that after Neo is given the Skygrasper fighter jet, he does not return to the Archangel and to Murrue Ramius. Rather, he left as he was told, seeking refuge during the remainder of the war until it was safe.
Currently, he still thinks of himself as Neo Roanoke and not as Mu La Flaga—he is, however, slowly receiving memories of his life as Mu, which constantly messes with the false memories that had been implanted into his brain by LOGOS.
