Shaking her head trying to get out of the cat induced trance she was in she blushed a bit embarrassed about her reaction. She just couldn’t help it, though. They were so adorable.
"Yes, they are very cute." Hesitating a bit she began to bite her bottom lip. "Are they yours?" Unable to hold it in she added quickly, the question coming out as one word. "Can-I-hold-one?"
The fact that she’s so shy about it has Mu a little curious, but he’s old enough to know when not to butt into anyone else’s business. He lets out a little chuckle, but nods his head in response to her second question.
“You can,” he tells her. “And they’re not mine, but they were left all alone. Who wouldn’t wanna care for a bunch of innocent outcasts, right?”
His index finger lightly rubs at each of their heads, his voice making soft noises to get some of the sleeping ones to wake up. They all awake save for the smallest one, and Mu scratches that one behind the ear before looking back up at the one-eyed girl. “If any of ‘em like you, you could take the little guys home.”
